It has been a while since our last post. This is how it goes in life, sometimes you chat to your friends on a daily basis and other times, weeks or even months can go by without so much as a hello. Our prayer lives encounter the same ups and downs as life happens. I… Continue reading Keep it simple
This is my thing. by Corron Bowers
If you think about it, writing down your prayers in the form of a diary entry sounds very time consuming and irrelevant. I mean it’s not like you’re going to read it again or refer back to an entry in your future? Ever since I started having a relationship with God, that is what I… Continue reading This is my thing. by Corron Bowers
Let’s step up our prayer game!
Praying has never really been on the top of my “faith list”. I am willing to talk to God, prepared to serve Him, but seriously praying for longer than 5 minutes has always been a challenge and not at all a priority… When we joined Angus for “It’s time” he made us pray all together… Continue reading Let’s step up our prayer game!
Grace – what inspires me.
This gift of grace has always fascinated me, and I still do not fully comprehend it. All I know is that I am forever grateful for receiving grace and having the ability to have grace and be gracious.
Can the real Proverbs 31 woman please stand up!?
I want to challenge you and myself to be gracious and celebrate the women who are like you but most importantly celebrate those who are not. Take what you can learn from them, and grow into a woman of valor, a woman that is in all forms of the word excellent, become the REAL PROVERBS 31 Woman, and stand up!
Rise up to the challenge
I am no Kari Jobe, by any stretch of the imagination, but I put myself out there, a lot of times very uncertain about my ability to even just sound OK. I know that I am called by God to serve His people, we all are, and therefore if we step up to the platform and avail ourselves to be used by Him, as His vessels, He qualifies us!
It’s not about the nail!
Men go to a nothing box, and women re-examine the whole thing into the finest details. I poked my husband in the ribs and said: “It’s not about the nail”... And the light went on! He kind of gets it now…
Be kind, your glory has been restored.
"Our glory as women have been restored! Mother Mary have given birth to Jesus 2000 odd years ago, and the Serpent have forever been destroyed. Why then, my dear sisters, are we still living under the bondage of that sin and guilt?
Bridging the gap – our big move (part II)
It has been one month since we received the confirmation that we will be relocating to the UK, and boy, what a month it has been! We fine combed all the contracts (thank goodness Aaron is a lawyer!), we sat in queues for hours to apply for official document (not to mention the money spent… Continue reading Bridging the gap – our big move (part II)
What does it mean to guard your heart?
If your house starts to burn down what would you grab first? Your dog, wedding album, grandma’s pearls or that trash can you wanted to empty out earlier? I am 100% convinced it’s not the last option. We do not value trash, we take it out once a week, leave it outside, unprotected, until someone… Continue reading What does it mean to guard your heart?
